• Superior Alloy Steels' Temprite is a non-tempering general purpose tool steel. By non-tempering we mean it does not require the drawing of temper. Consequently you do not need good blacksmiths or extensive heat treating equipment to make the finest tools of Temprite.

• ALL STANDARD SIZES, ROUNDS AND SHAPES ARE AVAILABLE FROM STOCK.

• NOTE: No drawing of temper required.

• WORKING INSTRUCTIONS

• FORGE at 1800 degrees F. or bright orange.

• QUENCH at 1600 degrees F. or salmon color.

• QUENCH in clean water.

We will cut lengths to your specifications.
