Superior Alloy Plate is produced by an electric furnace process that is vacuumed degassed and a fully killed steel, resulting in a product that is clean, formable and extra tough. It has exceptional wear resistance to combinations of abrasion, impact and gouging. It will consistently test at or above the stated hardness level. The consistent hardness of our plate is achieved not only through systematic alloying, it is a result of a cooling process that achieves hardening throughout the thickness of the plate.
