Keyrite Keystock is produced under close control to meet  exacting specifications of those who require consistently close tolerances and high mechanical properties. It's advantages are: 

• Reduces the possibility of key failure through greater shear strength than is obtained from carbon steels.
• Consistent trueness to section and close tolerances eliminate costly machining at keyways necessary when compensating for the variable tolerances of ordinary sections.
• Machining properties improved over steels of comparable analysis through exacting metallurgical control.

• Extra true corners insure perfect alignment and fit in keyways eliminating tendency to rotate.
